3M Hookit Finishing Film

3M Hookit 6" Finishing velcro DA Paper is available in grades P600-P1500, 6 inch discs, white in color with a Hookit attachment system and a strong film backing.

For use in scuff sanding before painting to remove runs, dust nibs and excess orange peel from topcoat finishes. This product cuts fast, lasts long, resists loading and leaves behind a consistent finish.

Use with 3M 05776 Backup Pad.

Usage:

1500 Grit - Use to level minor dust nibs and for light sanding of mismatched orange peel on all automotive paints.

1200 Grit - Levels orange peel, dust nibs or paint runs in all types of automotive paints. Appropriate for light sanding on refinish lacquer.

1000 Grit - Levels orange peel, dust nibs and paint runs in refinish acrylic lacquer paint.

600 and 800 Grit - Use for scuffing the blend area prior to painting.
