As the light source and viewing angle changes, the color appears to change. Designed to work as an easy-to-apply, three-step system, the base coat, mid-coat, and topcoat work together to create dramatic color effects in a durable, high-gloss finish.

Complete MIRAGE Color Kit includes everything you need to create dazzling color shifting effects. Kit includes 1 can of Black Base Coat, 1 Can of Mid-Coat, and 1 can of Clear Top Coat.

DupliColor Mirage Lacquer Base Coat Exclusively formulated to provide an even black lacquer base coat, it's a beautifully smooth finish that's the essential first step to creating the desired color "shifting" effect.

DupliColor Mirage Mid-Coat Color This exclusive, high-quality acrylic lacquer changes color depending on light, angle, and surface contour. It can be used on cars, trucks, bikes, helmets, skateboards, and other applications where dramatic color changes are desired.

DupliColor Mirage Topcoat Clear Designed to provide protection and shine, this durable high-gloss clear lacquer is the perfect topcoat for Mirage base coat and mid-coat.

Application Tips:

Always prep surfaces by removing dirt, grease, wax, oil, scale, moisture, rust, and loose paint. Scuff-sand rusted or smooth surfaces.

For best results, apply Mirage Paint at room temperature (70F) and when humidity is below 50%. If products are sprayed in excessive humidity, it may trap moisture and dull finish.

One can each of Base Coat, Mid-Coat, and Topcoat will cover approximately 1-2 bike helmets or 1 bike when used as a system.

48 hours after your painted project is dry, you can use mild rubbing compound or a coat of wax to enhance the surface gloss.
