Zinc Phosphate Primer

Seymour Zinc phospate primer is specially formulated primer that is chromate-free and chemically bonds with iron, steel and aluminum to form a hard, highly adherent coating that is water-resistant.

Meets performance standards outlined in Federal Specification TT-P-1757A. Especially recommended for use over aluminum. Recommended film thickness: 0.5-1.0 mil. dry film (Approx coverage area is 10 sq ft). Exceeds 800 hours of 5% salt spray fog test (ASTM #B117). An all purpose primer under Seymour quality paints.
